Comenzando con la Temporada de Premios de la música internacional, el 26 de mayo se llevará a cabo la 51° edición de los American Music Awards, un evento muy especial para los espectadores porque les brinda la posibilidad de elegir a los ganadores mediante una votación previa. Con la intención de que los fanáticos conozcan a los artistas que estarán, este miércoles se revelaron los nominados.
El rapero Kendrick Lamar, que viene de hacer historia en los Grammy, cosechó diez nominaciones y se convirtió en el cantante que luchará por más galardones. Además de destacar en la categoría de Artista del Año, estará en Álbum del Año y Canción del Año por GNX y Not Like Us, respectivamente. En caso de llevarse ocho de estos reconocimientos, igualará a Michael Jackson y Whitney Houston como el más ganador en una sola noche.
Siguiendo con la lista, Post Malone registró ocho nominaciones, mientras que Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan y Shaboozey lo siguieron con siete. Finalmente, Morgan Wallen, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter y Taylor Swift pelearán por seis estatuillas.
