Critics Choice Awards 2024: a qué hora comienza la ceremonia y quiénes están nominados

Estamos llegando a la segunda mitad de enero y la temporada de premios ya se vive a flor de piel. Luego de la entrega de los Globos de Oro que se realizó la semana pasada, este domingo se celebrará una nueva edición de los Critics Choice Awards, otro evento que premia lo mejor del cine y la televisión. El evento comenzará a las 22 (hora argentina) y se podrá disfrutar en la pantalla de TNT.

Al igual que sucedió en los Golden Globes, la gran parte de la industria de Hollywood se reunirá esta noche para galardonar a lo más destacado del 2023. La noche tendrá como anfitriona a Chelsea Handler y se desarrollará en The Barker Hangar, ubicado en Santa Mónica, Estados Unidos, donde se espera que asistan las estrellas más grandes del mundo.

Lo más destacado del cine

Las películas que más nominaciones cosecharon para esta noche son Barbie, de Greta Gerwig, Oppenheimer, de Christopher Nolan y Pobres Criaturas, de Yorgos Lanthimos, quienes parecen estar encaminadas para pelearse entre sí todos los reconocimientos de la temporada. La primera participará en 18 ternas, mientras que las otras dos lo harán en 13.

Siguiendo la misma línea, en la sección de actores parece que sucederá algo similar a lo largo de la temporada, ya que hay algunos que le sacan cierta ventaja a sus colegas y contrincantes. Sin dudas, lo más atractivo de este domingo será ver quién se queda con el premio a mejor actriz entre Emma Stone (Pobres criaturas) y Lily Gladstone (Los asesinos de la luna de las flores), pues ambas consiguieron dicho galardón en los Globos de Oro.

Por su parte, en la terna de mejor actor todo parece mucho más decidido, pues Cillian Murphy ganó la semana pasada por su interpretación como Robert Oppenheimer​ en el largometraje homónimo. Sin embargo, dirá presente Leonardo DiCaprio, quien siempre tiene posibilidades de ganar en cualquier evento.

Lo más destacado de las series

Para sorpresa de nadie, Succession, The Morning Show, The Crown y The Last of Us son los espectáculos dramáticos más nominados. Por cómo se están desarrollando los eventos, todo parece indicar que la última gran serie de HBO se llevará los galardones.

Tal vez lo mismo se puede decir de la categoría que premiará a la mejor serie de comedia, ya que se encuentra nominada The Bear, que enamoró al público y los críticos con la segunda temporada que salió el año pasado. Asimismo, también competirá Barry, el programa creado, guionado y protagonizado por Bill Hader que finalizó en 2023 luego de cinco años.

Por supuesto, no faltará presencia argentina esta noche. Camila Morrone asistirá y competirá por un galardó como «Mejor actriz de reparto en miniserie», nominación que logró gracias a su actuación en Daisy Jones & The Six.
